A native New Yorker who grew up in the Hudson Valley, Mark is a biologist by vocation and a naturalist by avocation. He is also a talented sculptor and voice-over artist, as well as author and writer. 

Mark’s own words: I have always been a Dreamer and a Story Teller and a dabbler in the literary arts. Now retired, I am free to pursue my writing full time. My first books are joint endeavors with my talented wife, Diane Solomon. “The Ravenstone: The Secret of Ninham Mountain” and “The Ravenstone: The Twain,” sprang from tales of the Hudson Valley and the Catskill region of New York State, my childhood home.
